The artists in residence for the fourth iteration of the Thun Ceramic Residency are Adriano Costa (b. 1975), Hella Gerlach (b. 1977) and Paloma Proudfoot (b. 1992). The new work, conceived during the summer residency, will be presented at the Fondazione Antonio Dalle Nogare. The exhibition is curated by Melissa Canbaz.
Sculpture here is a a non-static object that moves away from the plinth, and engages with its architectural and social environment. The artists reveal different qualities of ceramics by activating its material, performative, and physical dimensions.
